At the Liberation Center, we recognize that education is inaccessible for many people in the United States and there are many histories that are untold or hidden by our education system, particularly when they center black and LGBTQ+ people. For that reason, we value and promote popular and accessible education. RESOURCES
The People’s Forum is an organization based in New York that provides free educational and political courses. Their classes range from 3-week to 8-week courses and all of their virtual lectures are paired with written resources.
Breakthrough News is a nonprofit media and educational organization dedicated to independent, fact-based reporting, and analysis on the issues shaping our world. With reporters from every single country in the world and no funding from billion-dollar corporations, Breakthrough News offers an independent view of struggles across the world.
Liberation News is the media publication of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). The PSL is deeply involved in a wide range of struggles, from local battles over affordable housing and racist police brutality, to the fight for a higher minimum wage and union rights, to the global issues of imperialist war and environmental destruction. Liberation News provides reporting and analyses on all of these fronts of struggle.
